Marys Peak

Did you know Marys Peak in Benton County is the highest point in Oregon's Coast Range? On a clear day, hikers can see the Pacific Ocean to the west and the Cascade Mountains to the east while standing at the 4,097 foot summit. Called tcha Timanwi, or "place of spiritual power" by the native Kalapuya, this jewel in the Siuslaw National Forest offers several excellent hikes for all experience levels and was designated a Scenic Botanical Area because of its wide range of dazzling wildflowers throughout the spring and summer.
