National Historic Oregon Trail Interpretive Center

The newly upgraded National Historic Oregon Trail Interpretive Center is a must-visit destination in Baker County. The Center is located just outside of Baker City on 500 acres managed by the Bureau of Land Management, and contains Oregon Trail exhibits, four miles of interpretive trails, theater presentations, and historical artifacts including actual wheel ruts from covered wagons. All of it paints a vivid picture of the emigrant experience along the Oregon Trail out West.
